Everything you need to know about renting chiller vans, freezer vans, and refrigerated trucks across the UAE — the rental process, vehicles, pricing, compliance, and coverage.
Rental Process
Send us your cargo type, temperature needs, dates, and location by phone, WhatsApp, or the contact form. We confirm the right vehicle and an all-inclusive quote, usually within 30 minutes, and dispatch a pre-cooled van — often the same day.
For a driver-included rental you simply need your company or personal details and a delivery address. For self-drive hire we require a valid UAE driving licence and Emirates ID. Business accounts can be set up with a trade licence for recurring bookings.
Same-day dispatch is available across the UAE when you book before midday. For guaranteed vehicles during peak periods such as Ramadan, or for long-term contracts, we recommend booking a few days ahead.
For most locations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah we can have a pre-cooled vehicle at your facility within 60 to 90 minutes of a confirmed booking. See coverage for Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.
Our quotes are all-inclusive: vehicle, refrigeration, fuel, municipality permits, and — if selected — a trained driver. There are no hidden charges for cooling or standard mileage. Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted transparently up front.
Bookings can be adjusted or cancelled ahead of dispatch at no charge. For dedicated long-term contracts, notice terms are agreed in your rental agreement. Contact us as early as possible and we will accommodate changes wherever we can.
Vehicle & Temperature
A refrigerated van has an insulated cargo body and a refrigeration unit (typically Carrier or Thermo King) that removes heat to hold a set temperature. The unit is pre-cooled before loading and runs throughout transit, keeping cargo chilled or frozen regardless of the outside heat. Read our guide on how a chiller van works.
A chiller van holds 0°C to +8°C for fresh food, dairy, flowers, and pharma. A freezer van holds -18°C to -25°C for frozen goods, ice cream, meat, and seafood. See our full comparison.
Chiller vehicles hold 0°C to +8°C, freezer vehicles hold -18°C to -25°C, and our reefer trucks are fully adjustable from +15°C down to -25°C. Pharma vans are configured for the 2°C to 8°C medical range.
A high roof chiller van adds extra interior standing height and cargo volume, ideal for florists, bakeries with tall trolleys, and butchers hanging meat, while holding a steady 0°C to +8°C.
A 1-ton van suits agile, multi-drop city deliveries, while a 3-ton van carries roughly double the load (12 to 14.5 CBM) for supermarket restocking and larger routes. Compare all sizes on our fleet page.
Yes. Selected trucks have partitioned compartments that carry chilled and frozen cargo at the same time in separate temperature zones — useful for mixed loads on a single run.
Pricing
Pricing depends on vehicle size, hire duration, and whether a driver is included. We provide a transparent all-inclusive quote within 30 minutes of your enquiry, with reduced daily rates on weekly and monthly hire.
Yes. Daily, weekly, and monthly terms are available, and dedicated long-term leases with assigned vehicles and drivers offer the best value for ongoing routes.
The main factors are vehicle type and size, chilled vs frozen requirement, hire length, driver vs self-drive, and route distance for cross-emirate work. Longer commitments lower the effective daily rate.
Deposit requirements depend on the rental type and whether it is self-drive. For standard driver-included jobs there is usually no deposit. Terms are confirmed in your quote and rental agreement.
Compliance & Certification
Yes. Every vehicle carries valid municipality food transport permits and undergoes regular hygiene inspection, so your cargo is never at risk of confiscation or permit issues. See our note on Dubai Municipality cold chain rules.
HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) is a food-safety framework for controlling contamination risks. Our fleet is HACCP-compliant, with sanitised cargo bays and controlled temperatures that keep food safe in transit.
GDP (Good Distribution Practice) governs how medicines are transported. Our pharma vans use calibrated sensors, continuous data loggers, and documented chain of custody. Learn more on our pharma cold chain logistics page.
Yes. All vehicles have GPS tracking and temperature monitoring. For pharmaceutical cargo we provide calibrated data loggers with downloadable, time-stamped records for audit compliance.
Yes. Our fleet is fully insured and maintained to strict standards, with preventive maintenance on every refrigeration unit to prevent cold-chain failure.
